The Erratics
Welcome to our website.  Please feel free to have a look around.  You'll find information about the current season and, in our archive zone, match reports from the last few years.

You can read about the history of the club in two books edited by Stephen Fisher, former President of the club and greatly missed.  The third book in this selection is written by Dennis Lane, former keeper of Gras Lawn, one-time home of the Erratics.

'The Erratics - Fifty Not Out' - This history, or celebration, of the Club to 1984, written by past and present players, was compiled by Stephen Fisher, one-time Economic Historian and long-term Erratic.  Its memoirs, essays, treatises, poetry, even some statistics (but not the averages) offer a rich account of the first fifty years.  The volume celebrates cricket, University life, and Devon.  It may be viewed as a contribution to English social history, a source book in the field of leisure.

'The Erratics - The Glory Decade to 1994' - This history carries on from the spirit of its predecessor 'The Erratics - Fifty Not Out', many more matches having been played since 1984.

Essential reading for any aspiring Erratic.
